A little bit better each day
In the flurry of launching new Web services over the last few years, something has been overlooked. Launching a site isn’t launching a business. There are some great Web ideas out there with prototypes and promise. Doublewide Labs is about finding those underdeveloped services and making them a little better, a little more relevant, a little more profitable, all the time. We’re always looking for potential acquisitions to which we can apply some operational love and care.
What’s with the name?
It’s a project name we fell in love with. But also, think about construction sites. The trailer is right there on site, the foreman camped out next to the place where all the work is happening. Hands on. Doublewide is up in the mix, paying close attention to the daily hum of our services.
Blinksale!
Our first property is Blinksale, the easiest way to send invoices via the Web. It’s a darling little service that was one of the first Rails apps to capture the imagination of the creative services crowd. We think it has huge potential. Keep an eye on it. We’ve got plans.
