Exciting news to share with you: Doublewide Labs has bought Blinksale. We think it’s an ideal Web service to launch our portfolio with. This super simple invoicing app aimed at creative service providers has always been a darling of the design set. It was one of the first Rails apps not created by 37 Signals, early to adopt innovative identity technologies like OpenID, launched one of the first Basecamp integrations, and people have just always liked it.

I was one of the first Blinksale users, and I’ve always been impressed with how quickly it lets me get down to business.

Josh Williams and the talented team at AlamoFire have gone on to launch even more great stuff after they created Blinksale. Their digital collectibles game Packrat and their new mobile game Gowalla are getting great reviews. They needed a team to take Blinksale to new places, and they chose Doublewide.
